Once more, I listen to original first. Slayer. This is really cool! Lots of energy and something of a surprise from Electronz although I haven't kept track lately I really should go comment.....
hold...
Now the cover.
Works for me "Dropped it: Yeah, you made it your own for sure. This is just oozing of desire to beat on something, drums, the guitar, that fumbling drummer.
Well done dude.

This is a perfect example of reinstrumentation. The original is great but you showed us all that it was calling for guitars...and more guitars. Nice touch with the stick

Damn dude! This is mint~I must admit when
I heard the original I had my doubts that
you would be able to cover this with the
same kind of speed and excitement that the original has,but my doubts flew out
the window as soon as your cover started.
love the(dropped the drumstick part) guitar work shines!Top Notch
cover of a difficult piece..
deciding how to vote just got harder!

I listened to the original and wondered how I would have approached it if I had drawn Elektronz and I have to say I came up with nothing, so I tip my hat to you for carrying it off and doing it so well to boot! Really nice job

I was almost disappointed with the first few measures. I say "almost", because that's about the time that I encountered what might be a first for me: a breakbeat that was actually explained away. That was pretty funny...and really well-timed.
The danger, of course, was that the original was fairly original in how it executed a very shredder-guitarly melody on a keyboard. Merely bringing it back home to the guitar would've been entertaining enough, I suppose...I was digging the frantic Anime/Manga theme vibe...but then, it took another delightful turn: it started to sound distinctly Surf Rocky. Visions of polyester-clad gals with missile-shaped breasts popped into my head, manically doing The Swim to some Dick Dale/Ventures/Mermen tune, their Mary-Tyler-Moore-as-"That-Girl" hairdos perfectly retaining their shape, thanks to a thick shellac of Aqua Net.
At least, that's what happened inside my little mind, and it was great fun.

This sounds like you really had fun playing this one. The original was done with the VST "Slayer" that I never really liked. With real guitars it starts to live. Reminded me to "Miserlou" in parts. Production could be better, but I really enjoyed the listen.

Well what can you say after that? damn nothing dammit I had the same picture in my head! I have listened to all the songs about well 12 times each at this point, and I have to say every time I hear this I see that maybe mixed in with some surf punks drinking motor oil (damn what was that movie???)
IF I had drawn elek... I would have surly been lost !!!

Shit this is amazing stuff. I keep thinking Dick Dale and the Tokyo Shock boys while I listen to this for some weird reason that I can not explain. You really do this so very well. Well done Spike. Excellent work my friend!!!

Why not just inject the caffeine directly into the brain? This beats a cup of first thing in the morning! I think I just cleaned up my whole house in one listen. Love the comic touch, too. You did GOOD, Spike!!

I've heard this a number of times too though I'm sure late to comment. I like what you have done here. The drums are sick. LOL I dropped my stick. The original from Electronz was sick...this is totally sick..!
