Very nice collab gents
Interesting lyrics.
Did you hire JJ Cale for vocals
On a more sensible note.
This is great work between you

Well, the turnout of all this is going to depend on the alien monk's particular religion. At best they could end up listening to a lot of chanting. At worst, well, you can pretty much guarantee The Probe will be involved somehow, and things will go downhill from there.
Waitaminit -- are these the same aliens from :
"Annihilation battleground
The mothership will hunt you down
Like wildfire a new faith is forming"

oh wow. I don't know what to say on this one. This one was so unexpected as the two of you have such different musical styles.
I have the greatest respect for Henri. He is one amazing talented artist. What amazes me is how talented Henri is at playing any instrument he picks up. This is not a sound I would have imagined him doing but he does it so well. You can hear hints of his signature sound on the keys. If I didn't know Evans beats, I would not have guessed this to be Henri's. Other than that, its hard to tell who contributed what.
Spike, you have a talent for placing the right melody to the right track. Having collabed with you now a number of times, I know you contribute musically also. A good sign of a great artist is how well their contribution blends in. If you contributed beyond the vocals, It has blended in very well.
I guess what I'm saying is, this was cool musically and technically.

Ahh, I can always expect something uniqie and wonderful when Spike is involved but I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting this! First, the music creates a perfect cosmic road trip. I can see the pick up, dust trailing behind, under the hot sun... I love when music creates a picture for me and this is wonderful. Add to that these completely understated (and that's good! ) lyrics with the casual vocal style and the picture is complete. I feel pretty good about tell you that this is probably one of my favorite collabs I've heard. Something inside me loves the fact that people with completely different styles could come together to create this. Just shows what talent can do! Kudos to all.

I like it, it has a new age electronica kind of vibe with that wubba-wubba bass and the accordion like keyboard sounds. The vocal effect is very eerie and sets the track up well, this is how imagine music would sound in your head if you were dreaming about being teleported up into a spaceship and having aliens conduct experiments on you before returning one almost unaware of the experience back to Earth with nothing but an extra sensory perception to remember it by. Great theme !!

I also find some of the most fascinating music on this page - it's usually highly original, strange, quirky and thoroughly appealing, and this track is no exception. Fantastic collab - a seamless joining of talents. Slightly eerie, a little haunting, certainly very odd...and totally brilliant - kinda got me curious from the first few bars and then kept me hooked right until the last note. Excellent!

Wow there are some fantastic lyrics in this one. I sometimes do wonder where the hell they come from. This tells the story on Enrique and Pablo so well and it’s a great story to be told.
The mixtures of styles really work perfectly in this and everything has this really weird pacing to it that works so darn well! Henri is so darn amazing without doubt but this is also a great show of the talent of Evan!!
My fave lines in this: Somehow they met up with an alien monk
Then they hitched a ride North in his pickup truck.
Great stuff again!!

Honestly I didn't know what to expect with this matchup of talent as one is more on the "classical" side of the spectrum and one is more on the "punk" side. But I'll tell you what, it's wonderful to hear the result of something unexpected and have that result sound like this! Great job!

That music is just trippy I totally dig it The vocals sound pretty cool, I actually like how they kinda blend into this crazy music I'm not always sure what you're saying, so I can't really say that I LOVE the lyrics but I don't dislike them at all How can I say how I feel about words that I'm not even hearing Haha don't take that the wrong way at all because it seems like that's how this track should be...mysterious, unknown, trippy I totally dig it

A most unique musical experience! The music is wonderful by itself, but then the vocals and the repetitive portion of the lyrics is just so good! Okay, but what happened to Enrique and Pablo? I expect a sequel here. Testing your limits!

I've often heard it said...and I've found it to be the case for me, personally...that it's more difficult to write lyrics for something upbeat. There just seems to be more room for unique expressions of negativity; expressions of positive attitude run a much greater risk of sounding trite and/or hackneyed. This overcomes that in grand fashion, in my opinion, thanks to this odd little half-story you've created. And the fact that there isn't any huge conflict and resolution isn't particularly distressing, as the characters are developed jjjjjust enough to make them interesting without making the listener deeply emotionally invested in them. It's a wonderfully cheery melody with a smart solution to a potential creative problem.

I like the production on this track.I feel a bit more could have been done to the intro.Again you seem to a real strong hold in your sound. The vocal arrangement is very interesting and different. This is very Artsy like.Henry did a good job too(Im thinking the under key layers?).It sounds like many simple little things put together to create a real nicely layered piece of music! The only thing I find is the ride cymbal a bit distracting , it seems like the higher frequencies are getting maximized by merged into its sound.Anyway great piece!!!
