Wow, awesome bass and guitar lines with some groovy psychedelic effects. The intro reminds me a lot of Joy Division but then we get the trademark multi-tracked evan voice dripping. Great lyrics, I feel the despair in this song. The real drums certainly add a wonderful increased depth. Some nice mixing features too, drops/mutes, ambience. Totally freakin' awesome. Now monsieur, when are you gonna get around to putting out a CD, I for one would drop a few dollars on your work Thumbs Up and if you do....definately include this track !!!!

Another track that really hits the spot - excellent writing, arrangement and production - faultless. Everything about your tracks works so well, and coupled with that distinctive originality of your style, you have a certain magic and talent that's hard to define.

Very Cool music, and the vocals fit the lyrics perfectly. This has such a hopeless feeling to it, a touch of anger... and you have some powerful imagery in it. Well done! Clapping Clapping

For anyone curious...I did the music using about 50% sample arrangement. You know...the sample CD you can buy anywhere...finding a section cutting them up and re-arranging them. I know, I know but I suck at playing the guitar so, I cheated a bit. Hopefully I will gain a bit more credibility by doing the other 50% in FL Studio...thats right FL Studio and a cheap yamaha motif keyboard :D (Big Grin) its all I can afford Rolling On Floor Laughing!

In any case, hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks to evansorchid for taking on this project High Five! you did awesome bro.

This reminds me of a vampiric version of Fleetwood Mac (maybe from the "Tusk" era, except possessed by the Great Old Ones) backed by early U2 but with Larry Graham on bass, maybe performing at the Courts of Chaos.

That's all positive, by the way!

I like songs like this one , the melody is not so simple
to memorize :-) (Smile)

It's quite dark ,but the returning drums fill with it's ending cymbal hit , brings something fresh in it :-) (Smile)

Kewl, musically I really like this. Lyrics are kewl. The concept works, the low-fi section is kewl. However, your choice of vocal melody and harmonic lines just doesn't do it for me. I don’t get excited or drawn in. Obviously I’m the dissenting opinion here; knowing all here disagree but I think you can do better job on this. If this was me I would rework the melody and harmonies. With some time and effort this could really be something special.

Good Job

Cool when an electronic musician teams up with a guitar dude. Assuming Blue did the rhythm track it sounds really live yet tight. One of Orchid’s best voxs I think. Crystal clear production, great effects. It rocks in a rock and Roll type of way. Thumbs Up

The vocals are just absolutely wicked, I dunno, it sounds so freaky Alien probably because of the multitracking but the vocal melody is just awesome, it has such a warm feeling and the used tonality is something that I'm muchly liking Cloud 9 Great great melody in this track Clapping Groovin

I love your vocals in this too, all those layered vocals in the chorus just fit, and the second verse vocals sound fuckin' awesome...that distortion, just sooo cool 8-) (Cool) I LOVE how it gets quiet too Groovin Soooo fuckin' bad ass... Brilliant bass line hooks listeners in right from the start. Super drums and rhythm guitar too - in fact the instrumentation and mixing sounds great through. Very professional sounding indeed Nodding

The vocal melody seems to make itself more prominent with each listen. It's almost subliminal in its impact as you don't realise how much it's reeled you in until its really got you. I hope that makes sense!

Well done, guys Groovin
