You've brought the vocals up and it makes for an even trippier sound! I wasn't expecting that. Nice frantic pace...almost Devo-esque in parts and thats a compliment in my opinion. Nice one, Spike! Now pass the hookah!

Well it won't be getting much airplay on radio Disney but man, it's an awesome song, wouldn't ever want to be drugged up and listening to this, it wouls send me into paranoid delusions !! Great sound canvas, if you cranked up the overdrive this could almost be death metal with the creeeeepy vocals, like the cure style guitar break at 2:30, awesome bass as usual, would have like to heard the bass put through a shredder in the rockier bit of the sound for even more sonic mayhem !
It sounds awesome, like early Sonic Youth and love the literary references, cool job man !!!!

Um have you been taking drugs my friend!!!! Cool!!! Do more as this is excellent stuff. I just dig your mindset when it comes to the lyrics you create. I mean… My hedgehog has now rolled away…What the fuck!!!!!!?
Somehow you manage to created a sound that matches and incorporates the madness of your lyrics perfectly. Great stuff Yoo-hoo Rockinghorse Fly!!!! Its like some sort of twisted fairy tale or something…lol

bottom line, you need to get ahold of Tim Burton's personal cel phone and get in collab with Danny Elfman...lol
This is so dark and twisted that it would fit right in with one of Burton's movies....
Sorry to say I hear a bit of clipping again there my friend, maybe vox are too hot?
very creative indeed, great lyrics...
And such a quirky rhythm, quite infectious!

Isn't it amazing when you think how music is made.....sound and notes all slotted together...and everyone comes up with something different.
And this is SOOOOO different.
Good work matey.
I enjoyed the trip you took me on.

I'm not sure how detailed you'd like this..... So.....
The delay timing on the drums in the beginning and subsequent spots, seems rhythmically odd. The timing feels a little off to me. Just a little jittery - lengthen it or shorten it to a rhythmic equivalent of the beat. Like a 1/3, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc - that will help propel the momentum forward and be more cohesive.
The gtr. intro reminds me of a variation of the Jaws theme - that's pretty kewl. Nice gtr. licks - the one beginning at 00:39 that is also used later - seems out to me. The chord sounds fine but the overtones are out - maybe the gtr's intonation needs a little tweaking.
It's a little hard to make out the lyrics. This adds to the mystery of the lyrical content. With the voice inflection you are using – that would be quite challenging to perfect, not that you would want to precisely. But a couple spots could use a boost in volume or an EQ adjustment. Maybe automate the vocal EQ to follow the vocals and boost at or around 1200 to 3000Hz ( you’ll have to play with to find the sweet spot) to brighten the enunciation a little when needed - then back it off when not needed. It’s in – it’s out….. The "Hey, Hey" spots would be perfect place for multiple delay repeats.
This is a very unique and distinctive composition. I like it...... A little fine tuning tweaks here and tuck there. And you'll have a very fine piece of art.
Well Done - Hope this Helps.....

the dissonance in the single note playing on the guitar brings out a really nice oddness, especially the higher pitched notes.
fun and wiod ride this is.

I'm a sucker for nice drum sounds kickin' off a track and this one's got'em! I like what you do with the vocal treatments. It is working in this context. Nice psychedlic feel overall. I like the variation between the main theme and the chorus (where things get a bit more open and wander in some different directions). Sometimes I might have liked to have some more up front sounds in the mix, but that's just my personal taste and I can appreciate what you were going for with this mix.
Nice job in throwing in the change ups along the way to keep the piece moving.
I enjoyed it !

I'm going to download this for keeps! Great subject matter (I'm biased, there was a reference to this story in a song I did this year). It's a great story and you've captured its strangeness expertly with this track. Love the lyrics and the arrangement - a kind of dark psychedelic flavour. Excellent work - love it!

I remember the original version on this was so fucking great. I was utter fucking crazy over it. This sounds quite different now isn’t it… Its very fucking epic and some of the panning is just crazy. When I listen to you I feel drunk sometime….ok maybe I am anyway but I feel even more drunk. I am going to have a rest now…I feel dizzy. Well another classic from you then!
